The Method
- Place lentils into a pan with the bay leaves and cover with 2 litres of water and bring to a simmer.
- Meanwhile cook off your garlic and spices and leave to one side.
- Once your lentils are fully cooked and have absorbed all the water and come to a creamy consistency you can add the spices and garlic
- Squeeze a touch of lemon juice in there with some salt and your away to go.
To make this Low Carb dish into more of a meal try adding some chopped veg into the lentils while they boil.
