In 2016 this dream became a reality when I ran a crowd-fund campaign to open my restaurant in my home town of Carmarthen. I am the proud winner of Chef of the Year at the Food Made Good Award and delighted that we were runners-up at the Observer Best Ethical Food Project – a cause very close to my heart.
Chef of the Year award at the Food Made Good Awards 2019, the Sustainable Restaurant Association’s annual industry accolades for the most progressive purveyors of food and drink.
The Warren was runner up in this years Observer Food Monthly Awards.
The whole team is over the moon to have been recognised by such a prestigious national publication such as The Good Food Guide.

I started cooking at local markets and had a stall at Riverside market in Cardiff. It was hard work but I met so many amazing people doing this and it confirmed my love of being a chef!
Who doesn’t dream of playing Glastonbury? I got to experience it when the Ethical Chef brought our menu to the masses and we sold out over the four day event!
Seeing my dream of opening a restaurant become a reality was incredible and definitely worth all of the hard work. The restaurant is going from strength to strength and I’m so excited to see what the future holds
