Where do we start? What an incredibly successful night! Who would have thought that less than 4 weeks ago this garden space was derelict, used as a fly tipping site but after wheelbarrows full of enthusiasm and energy it’s been transformed into a fantastic community space! No-one could have imagined such a number of people in the Mackintosh that night, it was heart warming to see the community gather around enjoying music, entertainment and of course food. We must have sold over 250 plates of food, Deri was stuck in the kitchen most of the night cooking more food while the rest of us calmed the hungry crowd.

For those of you that don’t know, The Mackintosh is now the new base for EthicalChef, with a fantastic 20 seater dining room which we have officially opened for 3 nights of the week from Friday – Sunday launching with The Farmers Market Menu.

Thanks again to all who attended and lets hope Cardiff Street Food Festival on November 17th is as much of a success!
